Being in the Dental Field has been the best choice I’ve made in my professional life. I have been in the Dental Field for 35 years. I graduated from the University of Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic in 1985 with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. I migrated to the United States and became a Dental Assistant because I also started a family. One of my biggest compliments in life is being a mother to my two beautiful children. Once both my children went to college I decided to pursue my Dental Hygiene Degree. I have been in a registered Dental Hygienist for 8 years now and have loved every minute of it. I belong to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society as well as I received the Hostos Community College Silver Metal for my entire class as well as the Dental Hygiene Association’s General Clinical Proficiency Award.
